The ASEAN UNITY PARK (AUP) aims to celebrate ASEAN unity and cooperation. This private sector initiative will be launched this 2017 to commemorate the 50 years of ASEAN. The ASEAN UNITY PARK is the first project of the FAITH Botanic Gardens Foundation (FBGF). It forms part of FAITH COLLEGES’ commitment to spread awareness of the ASEAN through the school-wide ASEAN awareness activities that it has been implementing yearly on a sustained basis since it opened in 2001.
More About Us How To Reach UsThe initial phase of the park will showcase the trees and plant species common to the 10 ASEAN countries. The park will also feature indigenous artworks or works of artists from the ASEAN member countries. Prominent landmarks from each country may also be replicated in miniature size in particular “country sections” of the park.
Aside from the gardens, there are plans to build an ASEAN Hall that will serve as a venue for exhibits, symposia, and special events that will be organized in partnership with the embassies and other like-minded institutions.
The ASEAN UNITY PARK will be located in the future 40-hectare campus of FAITH Colleges at the Batangas Greenvale, Balete, Batangas. The area is near the Lake Taal, one of the country's premier tourism destinations.
The vision for the ASEAN UNITY PARK (AUP) will be fully realized with help of institutions and individuals with the heart for the ASEAN community and with the dedication to provide more green spaces for the enjoyment of everyone especially our young people.
